About us
My name is Ruurd Doorten and since 1 January 2021 I have been the proud owner of Group Accommodation Orvelter Hof. After completing secondary school and hotel management school, I had the opportunity to do various interesting internships abroad, including Australia, Bali, Thailand, England and Belgium.
Upon returning home, the opportunity arose to take over Orvelter Hof and pursue my passion for hospitality and tourism.
I hope to welcome you at Orvelter Hof soon.

The creation of Group Accommodation Orvelter Hof
In 2010 we were able to take over the former group accommodation Imkerhof. Our wish was to create a luxurious yet cosy and homely accommodation with plenty of privacy for our guests.
All bedrooms are therefore equipped with their own bathroom, making it an accommodation suitable for family and friend groups as well as for meetings with overnight options and corporate outings.
After a thorough renovation, with much of the work done ourselves, we were able to open our doors in 2012 under the name Orvelter Hof!
